It continues to be really slow for everyone. We have had one single family sale in the month of June and we have seen 18 new single family listings come on the market in the month of June.
There has been a number of stars that have all aligned in the last 2 to 3 months:
Increase in interest rates
Increase in inflation
Seasonal slow down in our real estate market
Lots of media talking about the drop in real estate values and talk about a recession
A war in Ukraine
and bad weather!
All of which have contributed to this slow down but the big question is whether we will see an increase in activity, which we normally start to see happen in July and August.
